Our new location

From an optimization and functional integration standpoint, it made sense to bring the Comet Plasma Control Technologies and Comet Yxlon divisions together in order to expand our new product development, R&D capabilities, and advanced plasma applications with the new Synertia® RF Power Delivery Platform.

Approximately 20 years ago, Comet began a vertical integration into Yxlon X-ray Systems and RF Impedance Matching Networks. San Jose was the launching pad for the RF Match business, which has made Comet the market leader in that industry for the past decade.

Silicon Valley maintains a critical position in developing and producing state-of-the-art technology in all fields, particularly Semiconductor & Electronics. And, according to McKinsey, San Jose is the single most productive city in the United States.

We look forward to continuing our focus on the Silicon Valley region, due to close proximity with our customers and industry leaders.

Also, it’s a happy coincidence that our new facility launches during Comet’s 75th anniversary year, which highlights the long path of success we’ve been on since our founding in 1948.
