The semiconductor industry needs vacuum capacitors with higher voltage, higher capacitance in compact size. High power is a key requirement especially for power intensive etch applications.
Reduce the footprint and allow efficient use of matchbox space
Comet developed Tetra-Con, a new variable Vacuum Capacitor series, to reduce the footprint and allow efficient use of matchbox space and to provide increased design flexibility. Size-wise, the new Tetra-Con product family fits between the popular Hexa-Con and the Maxi-Con series and has wide capacitance range up to 2500 pF. Tetra-Con is also available with XtraVolt for even higher voltage at low frequency applications.
